Mr. Oliver is an executive with over 23 years of experience in international humanitarian governance and development work in over 15 countries, including living and working in unstable environments in Asia and Africa. In addition, he is a skilled fundraiser with bilateral and multilateral institutions, large foundations, global corporations, and major donors. Oliver has led large technical teams in the areas of public health, education, inclusive economic growth, civil society, leadership, and evaluation. Also a skilled program evaluator, having led impact evaluations in several countries.
During his extensive work experience he has developed experience with a proven ability to develop and implement international programs for various donors including USAID, the U.S. Department of State, the Australian Agency for International Development (USAID), the Department for International Development (DFID), the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF), SIDA; CIDA; DANIDA and the European Union.
He has also developed proven ability to oversee project resources and costs in compliance with donor rules and regulations and oversee implementation schedules to deliver results on-schedule and within budget.
He is a well respected leader able to build motivated teams and efficiently allocate resources to maximize project gains.
I am a highly organized problem solver, and solution-driven manager with the ability to work under strict timetables and on multiple projects simultaneously.
He has over 14 years experience as Country Director/Executive Director with leading international organizations. Currently he is the Executive Director of Uraia Trust.
Oliver is a PhD Candidate from University of Nairobi. He has an MA, from University of Nairobi; BA, from Kenyatta University; Post Graduate Diplomas in Business Management and in Human Resources Management from Kenya Institute of Management and a diploma in French.
