Dr. Riria, President and CEO of ENAF is in Liberia for the Intergenerational Women Retreat.

The following are the issues that are the basis of dialogue through the four days:

1) Young women getting the space for their voices to be heard
2) Approaches to closing the generational gap
3) How to get young women to lead
4) What mentorship is required for young women to lead
5) The role of partners – local and global – to make this happen
6) Older women to walk off the stage and allow the next generation to provide leadership.
7) Young women should get on stage and provide leadership of integrity and accountability.
Older women have done their part. Young women should get into the space and fill the gaps that older women have left undone.
This includes political and leadership gaps in all spheres of African societies.
